While going for walks, taking a run or riding bikes is generally allowed, the government has taken the next steps in making sports activities more available. Public sport’s fields “Orliki”, part of the Sailing Centre and several other sports facilities have been reopened to the public.
These include the tennis courts on Wojska Polskiego Street and the Light Athletic Stadium and running track on Litewska Street although strict obligatory safety rules for users have been introduced. The number of users on a sports field is restricted to only 6 and the number of sailors on yachts to only 2.
Apart from sport, culture is also returning to life. Museums such as Trafostacja of Art, The Museum of Technology and Public Transport as well as the Public Library are now open. Safety procedures will also apply to these stations including obligatory use of disinfectant hand spray on entry. School and academic libraries are to remain closed although this may also soon change. To stay up-to-date with all the latest developments visit https://koronawirus.szczecin.eu/
